Ark Ragnarok Ascended has a ton of wildlife sprawling all over its vast map. While the cool dinos get most of the attention and love, smaller animals such as the Ovis (this game’s version of sheep) are just as important for your survival.
The Ovis are sheep that roam the grassy lands of Ark Ragnarok Ascended. These cute little creatures are harmless and drop Wool. Wool is a direct substitute for Pelt in Ark Ragnarok Ascended. This means that anything you can craft with Pelt, you can craft with Wool.
Pelt requires you to harvest corpses, while Wool is obtained in the most eco-friendly way possible (and is also the easier way). If you’re looking to get your hands on some Wool, you need to find the Ovis. In this guide, we will go over where to find Ovis in Ark Ragnarok Ascended.

Where To Find Ovis in Ark Ragnarok Ascended?

To find the Ovis, you need to make your way to the Highland area on the map. As you approach the center of the field, with the Obelisk towering in the distance, you’ll find tons of purple flowers sprouting from the ground. You’ll see the Ovis roaming near these flowers.
Take note that their spawn rate in this area is low, but it is one of the safest areas in the game. For exact coordinates, head to Latitude 22.7, Longitude 82.8. These coordinates provide a general direction, as the Ovis can be anywhere on this field. Explore thoroughly to find the sheep.
Another area where you can find the Ovis is at Latitude 20, Longitude 84. You’ll find a hill in this area, and the sheep will be roaming on the slope. This is a large area, and the sheep move around quite a lot, so search thoroughly across the hill.
The final area where you can find the Ovis is at Latitude 19.2, Longitude 75. This is also in the Highland area. It is an open field, and the sheep walk around in broad daylight. They’re easy to spot and appear to spawn in high numbers here.
