While the Fuel-Powered Generator is ideal for managing your early power needs, expanding your base and progressing further will require a robust energy source like the Wind Turbine Omnidirectional.

Although the Wind Turbine Omnidirectional generates a substantial amount of power, it requires Low-Grade Lubricant to function. This guide goes through the process of obtaining Low-Grade Lubricant and how to use it in Dune Awakening.

How To Obtain Low-Grade Lubricant in Dune Awakening

You can craft Low-Grade Lubricant using the Small Chemical Refinery or the Medium Chemical Refinery. To craft Low-Grade Lubricant at the Small Chemical Refinery, you need the following materials:

Water (4): Obtained through Blood Purifier, Dew Reaper, Windtrap, and Fremen Deathstill.
Fuel Cell (2): Collected from the Scavenger Camps around the Rocky Mountain areas.
Silicone Block (1): Obtained by gathering Flour Sand from white sand patches and refining it at the Small Chemical Refinery.

Once you have the required resources, interact with the Small Chemical Refinery and craft Low-Grade Lubricant, which yields 5 units of the product.

How To Use Low-Grade Lubricant in Dune Awakening

Wind Turbines are a great way to generate power during the mid-to-late game. Wind Turbine Omnidirectional is the standard model, which requires Low-Grade Lubricant to function. On the other hand, the more advanced Wind Turbine Directional requires Industrial-Grade Lubricant.

After constructing a Wind Turbine Omnidirectional on your base, you need to power it up with Low-Grade Lubricant. Simply interact with the turbine and deposit the lubricants. Each Low-Grade Lubricant provides 1 hour of uptime. Depositing more Low-Grade Lubricant increases the uptime further and ensures long-term power generation for your base.
