Step 1- Take the Mountain Pass
First, make your way to the far northwest corner of the main Act 1 map to find the Mountain Pass. If this is your first time in this area, you’ll find a troop of Githyanki beneath a large wooden bridge. This will present you with the opportunity to get a powerful weapon called the Silver Sword of the Astral Plane. Make sure Lae’zel is not in your group, and you have a party member who can cast Command: Drop if you wish to try for it.
When you’re ready, keep heading west and you will find an exit that will take you through the Mountain Pass. Before going through, make sure you have resolved the conflict between the Emerald Grove and Goblin Camp one way or another.

Lady Esther will have something to discuss with you first, but look out for a dialogue option that asks her if she has any equipment worth trading.
