What is the Bow of Awareness in BG3?

In Baldur’s Gate 3 the Bow of Awareness is a basic, but good bow that will boost the Initiative of any melee class. The main perk on this weapon is called Seldom Caught Unawares, and it grants a +1 bonus to Initiative Rolls. Initiative determines the order of attack for all combatants in a fight. The dice rolls which you hear/see rattle right at the start of a combat encounter is the Initiative Rolls for every participant.
The results determine who gets to strike first and in what order. Ideally, you want as many of your party members to attack early in a turn as possible. If, for example, three out of your four party members can go first, then you can possibly take out an enemy or two before they even get their turn.
