Fleetfingers

In Baldur’s Gate 3 Fleetfingers are a pair of uncommon gloves which can offer some extra mobility very early in the game. The main perk on this piece of equipment is called Running Jump, and it basically does exactly that. Once each turn, whoever has these gloves equipped can use the Dash action to run into position, and then follow up with a Jump that doesn’t require a bonus actions.

These gloves could be used both for offense or defense, depending on your needs. Powerful melee characters could use them to rush into the fray, and draw the attack to protect weaker range classes. And those same weaker range classes could use these gloves to put good distance between them and attacking enemies when they come under pressure.

Here are all the Fleetfingers features in Baldur’s Gate 3:

  • Armor: Gloves
  • Proficiency Requirement: N/A
  • Rarity: Uncommon
  • Weight: 0.5 kg

  • Bonuses:
    • Running Jump: Once per turn, after the wearer Dashes or takes a similar action, they can Jump without using a Bonus action.
  • All Classes, Companions, and Races Can Use This Item

How to Get Fleetfingers in Baldur’s Gate 3

You can get the Fleetfingers very early on in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3, all you need it find the spot in the forest where the chest containing them is buried and one character will need to pass the Perception check to find it. You’ll also need to have a shovel on hand so that you can dig it up.

The location of the chest is just outside of the Blighted Village. From where you start in Act 1, there is only one way over to the Blighted Village and that is north and then west across a long bridge. You can find this bridge by going north and then west from the Riverside Cliff waypoint. Or, by traveling directly west from the Emerald Grove Environs waypoint.

After you cross the bridge, don’t enter the Village. Instead, move around it to the south. In the forest area there, on the left side of the path, is the location where the chest will be buried. It is highly likely that at least one of your companions will pass the needed Perception check, which will highlight the exact location. Dig up the chest and open it to find Fleetfingers.
