Learn where you can find and craft Bronze Bars in Enshrouded, a hard to find resource for upgrading tools and armor.
How to Get Bronze Bars in Enshrouded
To get Bronze Bars in Enshrouded you will have to craft them out of Copper Bars, Tin Bars and Charcoal. Unfortunately, there is no bronze ore in Enshrouded that you can craft Bronze Bars directly from. Before you can start crafting Bronze Bars you will first need the Smelter, which you can get by completing one of the Blacksmith’s personal quests. It’s called ‘Crucible Needed for a Smelter’ and you should receive it after you access the Revelwood region. To enter Revelwood, you will need to strengthen your Flame Alter to Level 3.
Secondly, you will need to have access to Tin Ore. This will not become available until later in the game. After strengthening your Flame Alter again to a Level 4, the shroud will allow you to travel into the Nomad Highlands region. There, you will be able to find Tin Ore deposits.

How to Turn Tin Ore Into Bronze Bars
The first step in creating Bronze Bars is turning Tin Ore into Tin Bars. You can create 3 Tin Bars by combining these ingredients in the Smelter:
- 15 Tin Ore
- 5 Charcoal
- 2 Wood Acid
Charcoal is easily made in the Charcoal Kiln by combining Wooden Logs and Dirt. Wood Acid is also created in the Charcoal Kiln and requires Wooden Logs and Dirt.
Secondly, you’ll need to craft Copper Bars out of Copper Ore. Copper Ore is available to mine from deposits within the Revelwood area, so hopefully you will already have some on hand. You will need 20 Charcoal and 20 Copper Ore in order to make 10 Copper Bars.
How to Craft Bronze Bars in Enshrouded
Finally, you have all the necessary ingredients for creating Bronze Bars! The recipe for 10 Bronze Bars will ask for:
- 7 Copper Bars
- 3 Tin Bars
- 10 Charcoal
In terms of ore, in order to make 10 Bronze Bars you will need to harvest 20 Copper Ore and 15 Tin Ore. Before you head out and mine all of those needed materials, be sure to unlock both the Mason skill (2 points) and the Miner skill (4 points). With the Mason skill your pick axe will deal 30% more damage against stone and resource veins.
Moreover, with the Miner skill active, it will grant you a 10% chance to get more resources when mining.
What are Bronze Bars, and what are they used for?
In Enshrouded you’ll use Bronze Bars to craft better armor and to upgrade your tools. For example, the durable Mercenary and Guardian armor sets will require Bronze Bars in order to craft all of their pieces. For mage builds, the Sage Armor set will need Bronze Bars for everything but the chest piece. Even the Herbalist set will need a few pieces of this metal in order to craft it.
Secondly, you can also craft upgraded tools with Bronze Bars. The Bronze Axe and Pickaxe will be especially useful to upgrade, as they will help you both mine and cut down additional resources. In fact, it might be best to use your Bronze Bars to upgrade your Pickaxe first, so that you can more efficiently mine more Copper and Tin ore.
