Ark Ragnarok Ascended lures you in with a unique mix of primitive and modern technology. There’s tons of stuff to craft in this game, and you’ll probably be enticed by the massive selection of modern tech on offer. The modern tech is cool, powerful, and makes you feel like a total badass.
While modern tech may be powerful, survival in the game is difficult if you neglect all the basic and primitive elements. Charcoal is one such crafting resource in the game. While charcoal may not help you make electronic tech, it acts as fuel in several primitive practices, of which cooking is the most notable.

Where To Find Charcoal in Ark Ragnarok Ascended
In order to find Charcoal, you need to make your way to (Latitude 29.3, Longitude 57.2). Heading to these coordinates will take you to a mountain. If you look straight, you will see the Obelisk cutting into the sky. If you don’t see the Obelisk, then you’re on the opposite side of the mountain. Climb uphill and begin your descent.
As you’re going down the mountain, you’ll see several trees on your path. Head over to these trees and start hitting away at them. Make sure to use the Primitive Metal Pick to hit the trees as they drop a greater amount of Charcoal when you do so. If you use the Primitive Metal Hatchet, the drop rate of the Charcoal will be far lower. Use the Metal Pick and pick away at all the trees to get the Charcoal.
