In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Hat of Storm Scion’s Power is a piece of headwear that was made specifically for use by spellcasters. It’s main bonus is called Thunderous Acuity and it will grant you Arcane Acuity anytime you deal Thunder damage to an enemy.
Arcane Acuity gives spellcasters a nice +1 boost to all spell attack rolls and spell save difficulty checks, which means it can increase both your offense and magical defense. However, you’ll want to be careful because the duration of Arcane Acuity will be reduced by 2 turns every time you take damage. Thankfully, Arcane Acuity has a total duration of 10 turns, which means in a longer fight this boost has the potential to last awhile so long as you aren’t targeted.

How to Get Hat of Storm Scion’s Power in Baldur’s Gate 3
To get the Hat of Storm Scion’s Power in Baldur’s Gate 3 all you have to do is visit Moonrise Towers during Act 2 and find the Drow merchant Araj Oblodra on the main floor. The Moonrise Towers can be found on the west side portion of the Act 2 map. This area can only be reached by crossing one of two bridges. Once across, Moonrise Towers can be found all the way to the south of the map.
No matter your allegiances, you can approach the guards under the guise of friendship and get inside. Head straight inside, and down the main flight of stairs. There are three different merchants in the Towers, and you’ll find Araj Oblodra by heading left/east once you’re inside. She is near the kitchen in a side room on the first level.
She’ll have a couple of requests and dialogue trees before you can take a look at her items for sale. Play through this part however you like. Finally, once you have access to her store, you can purchase the How to Get Hat of Storm Scion’s Power for 90 gold.
