Deep Desert is an endgame PvP region and one of the key locations of Dune Awakening. Although the Deep Desert appears like a vast sea of sand, it is actually a sea of valuable resources. Despite the high-risk exploration, you can find a lot of rare and valuable items at the location. Among the wide variety of resources, some are even exclusive to the endgame region.

One such essential resource is Irradiated Core—a crafting component used to create power-based items such as Power Pack Mk6. In this guide, we will explain how you can obtain the Irradiated Core in Dune Awakening along with its utilities.

Where To Find Irradiated Core in Dune Awakening

As mentioned, the Irradiated Core can be found in the Deep Desert. Take your Ornithoper and cross the border to access Deep Desert through the World Map. Riding the Ortnithopter also helps you in better reconnaissance and scouting. While exploring the Deep Desert, keep an eye out for shipwrecks. These damaged ships appear randomly throughout the region, so there is no fixed spot.

Upon identifying a shipwreck, land your Ortnithopter and inspect the destroyed ship. These ships usually have a hatch with hidden containers beneath. Use your Cutteray and cut through the side hatch and loot the container. You will have high chances of obtaining the Irradiated Core inside.

You can also craft an Irradiated Core at the Advanced Survival Fabricator using Irradiated Slag, Plasteel Plate, Duraluminum Ingot, and Water as an alternate method.
