How to Get Jorgoral’s Greatsword in Baldur’s Gate 3
To get the Jorgoral’s Greatsword, access Grymforge via the Underdark and purchase this from the vendor Corsair Greymon near the Free True Soul Nere Questline in Act 1.
Corsair Greymon
You first encounter the NPC Corsair Greymon during boat transit from the Decrepit Village in the Underdark to the Grymforge. You must avoid confrontation with Greymon and ensure he survives the encounter. The easiest option is passing a DC 10 intimidation check with a high charisma-based character. Once Greymon survives, you visit him just up the stairs as you arrive in Grymforge.

How to Use Jorgoral’s Greatsword
The best way to use the Jorgoral’s Greatsword is on a weapon-based damage dealer lacking area damage. Early in the game, this is nearly all melee build. In particular, the Barbarian, Fighter, and Paladin have very few ways to hit multiple targets at once. The Colossal Onslaught deals a massive amount of damage in a large 6-meter line. Moreover, you can apply an oil or a poison to deal even more damage. You’ll need to watch the aim to avoid friendlies, but this ability is a powerful one. Lastly, this weapon is an upgrade from the Everburn Blade and Sword of Justice found early in Act 1. Obtain this greatsword, and let it get you to Act 2 before needing to change!
