How to Get Komira’s Locket in BG3?
To get Komira’s Locket in Baldur’s Gate 3, you must find the Emerald Grove, speak to Arabella’s parents outside the Sacred Pool, then enter the Druid’s Chambers and save Arabella from Kagha.
Step 1- Find the Emerald Grove
The Emerald Grove can be found by going north from where the Nautiloid crashed on the Ravaged Beach at the very beginning of Act 1. The first time you approach you’ll find the gate under attack by goblins. Help the Tieflings fight the Goblins off and you will be allowed inside the Grove.
Walk straight ahead and down into a large cave area called The Hollow. The trader Arron is here, as well as many Tiefling refugees seeking protection from the goblins. There are many NPCs you can talk to and a few traders you can visit.
Step 2- Speak to Arabella’s Parents
As you walk into the Hollow keep to the right as the pathway forks and then bends around down into the stone archway that leads into the Druid’s Sacred Pool. Behind the small crowd, you will see a couple worrying about their daughter. Speak to them to learn about Arabella, and how she has been arrested for trying to steal the Druid’s sacred Idol of Silvanus.
During the conversation, agree to help Arabella if you can.
Step 3- Save Arabella
Speak to the Druid guards at the stone archway and they will let you pass. Next, keep to the right and you will see a stone door that will lead into the Druid’s Chambers. Inside, head down the stairs and you will immediately see Kagha confronting Arabella. Join the conversation, and pass a 15 DC Persuasion check to save Arabella. The girl will leave the Druid’s Chambers on her own. You can continue to speak to Kagha and explore the area inside.
Finally, when you are ready to leave head back outside and speak to Arabella’s parents at the same spot they were at before. They will thank you for helping their daughter and give you Komira’s Locket as a reward.
How to Use Komira’s Locket in BG3?
Komira’s Locket is a very simple accessory to use in Baldur’s Gate 3 and provides easy access to the Dancing Lights cantrip to whichever character equips it. There are few restrictions on the Dancing Lights cantrip, which costs no spell slots to use and can be cast repeatedly as needed.
Furthermore, Dancing Lights will create magical orbs of light that brighten an area in a 9-meter radius. Consequently, this can be a very useful spell in dark caves, caverns, or the Underdark areas of BG3.
However, it has almost no reasonable use in combat situations. Although it doesn’t use a spell slot, in combat all cantrips require you to use a full Action to cast. Dancing Lights does no damage to enemies at all and consequently is not worth the use of an Action when you could otherwise be doing DPS.
