Moreover, you could also use the Crouch action to sneak and hide, initiating combat with this first shot.
Additionally, Least Expected also has a unique weapon action called Blinding Shot. This can be used once per Short Rest, and it gives you a chance to Blind your target with a ranged attack. How to Get Least Expected in BG3? Explained
To get Least Expected in Baldur’s Gate 3 you need to find your way into the Gauntlet of Shar and discover the Gilded Chest hiding behind a large table/pedestal. The gilded chest isn’t too far inside the temple space. You’ll need to get past the puzzle at the entrance, which is very easy to do if you have a character with the Misty Step spell. Simply teleport one of your characters over to the gem pedestal in front of the Shar statue and interact with it.
After exploring this area you can move through the hallway to the north, which will bring you into another large open space. After walking through the entrance, head immediately to your left. There will be a large stone table and hidden behind you will find a Gilded Chest. It’s not locked, so all you have to do is click to open it. Inside you will find the Least Expected shortbow.
How to Use Least Expected in BG3?
The best way to use Least Expected is by equipping it to a Rogue class with a stealth focused build that prioritizes attacking from the shadows. Moreover, becoming or staying hidden is often easier during Act 2, in the appropriately named Shadow-Cursed Lands. It’s a great mid-game weapon to equip to a ranged build, and Rogue can take full advantage by imitating combat with a Sneak Attack (Ranged).
