How to Get Ne’er Misser in Baldur’s Gate 3
The Ne’er Misser Hand Crossbow can be purchased from Roah Moonglow in Moonrise Towers for 2400 gold (Honour Mode difficulty). The price may vary depending on your difficulty. In Baldur’s Gate 3, Act 2, head to southwest. As you reach a central abandoned plaza, Moonrise Towers are directly south from there. Inside, you’ll discover three merchants, and one of them, Roah Moonglow, is situated on the right side of the main entrance, on the first level.
If you plan to acquire this item and inspect all the vendors’ offerings within, it’s wise not to engage the cultists immediately. Instead, initially approach them in a friendly manner. Once you’ve completed your shopping and determined that there’s nothing else of interest, you can take hostile action against the cultists or follow your character’s story.
How to Use Ne’er Misser
The main benefit to using the Ne’er Misser Hand Crossbow is you can duel wield this weapon with another Hand Crossbow. This makes for an interesting and effective double crossbow setup. Another Act 2 item that we recommend is the Hellfire Hand Crossbow. Found in Act 2 by looting and defeating Yurgir in the Gauntlet of Shar, Hellfire makes an amazing combination.
The ideal class for this setup is typically a Rogue or Bard looking to play at range. Particularly the Rogue with the Thief subclass because of the Fast Hands passive giving an additional bonus action. Thus, you can fire multiple shots and still have a bonus action. Moreover, it’s common to multiclass with a Ranger gaining proficiency and extra attack. Look to get and obtain the Ne’er Misser in Act 2 for an interesting and different range crossbow build.
