Silk in Ark Ragnarok Ascended allows you to craft valuable items such as tents, whips, and desert cloth armor.
The Ark Ragnarok Ascended is dangerous, and to survive, you have to do everything in your power. The crafting elements, therefore, become a necessity more than a choice. You’ll be crafting tons of stuff during your stay on the Ragnarok map, but one thing you’ll need to withstand the planet’s hostile conditions is silk.
Silk is a crafting resource that allows you to craft items such as tents, whips, and desert cloth armor. While these may not seem all that important, they all add to your odds of survival. The tent, in particular, is important as it provides insulation from extreme weather conditions. If you don’t have silk, you don’t have a tent, and if you don’t have one, you’re very likely to die due to the weather.

Where To Find Silk in Ark Ragnarok Ascended

As the silk item description states, you obtain silk by killing Moth creatures all over the game’s map. While this may seem like the ideal way to obtain the resource, it requires far too much effort for what it offers.
The easier and more convenient way of obtaining silk in Ark Ragnarok Ascended is through the purple flowers all over the map. As you explore the map, you’ll often find purple/pinkish flowers growing on grass fields. Walk up to these flowers and pick them to obtain silk.
However, the ratio of silk per flower is very low, so this may seem like a waste of time. Thankfully, there are always dozens of flowers—packed up in a flower bed for you to pick. You can walk over this flower bed while spamming the ‘pick’ button prompt to collect them in mere seconds.
