Normally, this spell is only available to level 2 Paladins or level 3 Zariel Tieflings. Searing Smite is a spell which spell allows spellcasters to cause their melee weapon to flare with white-hot intensity. It deals, on top of weapon damage, an extra 1d6Fire damage and marks the target with Searing Smite (Condition).
The condition then causes the target to takes 1d6 Fire damage per turn. This will last for 10 turns, provided the target does not succeed on a Constitution Saving Throw.
Additionally, Skybreaker also have a +1 Weapon Enchantment, which provides you with some extra damage to your attack rolls.

How to Get Skybreaker in BG3? Explained
In order to get Skybreaker in Baldur’s Gate 3 you’ll need to safely find your way into the Underdark in Act 1, and then find the locked chest outside the Arcane Tower point of interest. If you haven’t already found your way into the Underdark, the easier way to get there is through the Well in the Blighted Village. You’ll have to pass an Investigation check to see down to the bottom. But once you do, you can climb down. Inside the caverns you will find the Spider Matriarch along with a number of other smaller spider enemies.

The Matriarch is walking around on webs up above an open chasm. You can see it glowing green below. Defeat the Spider Matriarch by knocking her off into the chasm and into the Underdark. You want to follow, but before you jump be sure to cast the Featherfall spell so that you and your party all land safely.

You’ll land in the Underdark in about the center-east of the map above. The Arcane Tower is located far to the lower southwest portion of the map. For easy quick travel back (and if you want to talk to Blurg/Omeluum to pick up a quest and kill two birds with one stone) you might first want to walk not far to the north and unlock the Myconid Colony waypoint.

Nevertheless, you’ll eventually make your way down the winding path to the Arcane Tower. As you approach the entrance, you’ll find a number of defensive turrets begin to shoot at you and your party with lightning. To get past these you will want to either sneak around them – using Invisibility, or by hiding to break their line of sight. You can also damage the Turrets will Lightning spells/arrows. Additionally, another way would be to cast the Fog spell around the turret so it cannot track your movements.

To find the chest with Skybreaker you’ll want to move south, instead of directly towards the Arcane Tower entrance. There is a space over in a corner where it appears that someone made camp. You’ll find a small, but heavy looking locked chest on the east side. Break it open and you can successfully loot Skybreaker.
How to Use Skybreaker in BG3?
The best way to use the Skybreaker in BG3 is by equipping it to a Fighter, Barbarian, or Paladin. While a Paladin may already have access to the Searing Smite spell, equipping this light hammer will give you a free cast that doesn’t cost a spell slot.
On the other hand, weilding Skybreaker will give Barbarians and Fighters access to this class-specific spell that they would never have unless multiclassing. As frontline melee classes they can also use Searing Smite very effectively in combat.
Tips and Tricks for Skybreaker in BG3
