In Minecraft, Rails are non-solid blocks that are used to create tracks, enabling minecarts to move over them. A Rail can be placed on the top of any full block, as well as the top of an upside-down slab, upside-down stairs, or a trapdoor. You can use the crafting table to craft Rails. Below are all the necessary details you need to know to make them.

You can effortlessly obtain Rails in Minecraft, as crafting them requires only two ingredients. To make them, you will need the following items:

  • 6x Iron Ingot
  • 1x Stick

Here’s how you can obtain these ingredients:

  • Iron Ingots: To obtain Iron Ingots in Minecraft, you first need to gather raw iron. Raw iron is commonly found in the Overworld and can be collected by mining the iron ore. After collecting the raw iron, put it in a furnace with fuel to smelt it into Iron Ingots.
  • Stick: A Stick is a common item in the Overworld and is used to craft a variety of other items. To obtain a Stick, you have to put two wooden blocks in the crafting grid: one in the top slot of the second column and the other directly below it in the center grid. Afterward, you will obtain four Sticks from this crafting process. Alternatively, you can use bamboo in the crafting grid instead of wooden blocks.

Once you obtain the ingredients, it is time to craft Rails.

  • From there, you can transfer them to your inventory.
