Vehicles like Sandbike, Buggy, and Ornithopter make exploration in Dune Awakening easy and more enjoyable. They not only allow you to experience the journey, but also reduce your travel time. However, your vehicles get damaged over time as you use them. Environmental damages like enemy attacks or sandstorms can even worsen your vehicle’s condition. If a damaged vehicle is neglected, it will eventually stop functioning. Thankfully, you can repair your vehicles and make them as good as new. Vehicles in Dune Awakening Can Be Repaired

You can repair your vehicle with the Welding Torch, which also allows you to customize and assemble vehicles. Along with a Welding Torch, you will also need some Welding Wire, which can be crafted at the Fabricator for 5x Salvaged Metals. The Welding Wire serves as the ammunition for the Welding Torch to repair vehicles. To repair vehicles, equip a Welding Torch and switch to the Repair mode using the right-click button. In the repair mode, aim the Welding Torch and use it on the different parts of the vehicle to repair them.

How To Check the Vehicle Condition in Dune Awakening

While riding, you can get a basic preview of your vehicle’s condition. However, there is also a more effective method. Approach the vehicle and press F to view More. Choose the Manage Vehicle option to open the Vehicle Management screen. It displays detailed information about your vehicle, including the fuel and decay status. You can also see the condition of each part, with severely damaged components highlighted in red, indicating they require immediate repair.

Also, keep in mind that repairing your vehicle each time reduces its overall maximum durability. As a result, you need to replace the vehicle parts eventually to maintain optimal performance.
