Learn how to unlock the Belvedere Courtyard Treasure Chest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, step-by-step.
The Belvedere Courtyard treasure chest is found during “The Stolen Cat Mummy” quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. At this time, you are exploring the Vatican City for clues to catch a thief. Your journey in the game eventually brings you to the Vatican Courtyard to photograph inscriptions. In a tent set up in the courtyard, you will find the Belvedere treasure chest.
You can locate the chest in the first tent on the left of the Belvedere Courtyard, which is strewn with enemies. It is a cabin tent with two chambers. You will find the chest in the second chamber, next to a desk, locked by a four-digit combination code. Since you are already donning the Clerical Suit acquired from Antonio, you can blend in among the priests of the Vatican.
Due to the Clerical Suit, the Fascists around you would have no clue of your true identity!
How To Unlock the Belvedere Chest
Leave the chest for now and first pay attention to the desk. Open the drawer on the left and find a ticket stub inside. The stub has the four-digit number required to open the chest, but it has a hole. This creates an interesting predicament due to the first two digits being missing. Rotate the stub and flip it over; you’ll find the first two digits written on the back.
The combination turns out to be 5238 when you join the two pairs of numbers. Open the chest, and you will receive the Splinter Smash Adventure Book and some lira as rewards.
