Hans Capon is a character we first met in Kingdom Come Deliverance. At first, he looked like the typical spoiled nobleman who did not like our main protagonist. But he quickly became Henry’s friend, and they started to bond. However, Hans Capon is also one of the many romance options developers added in KCD 2, but he is not exactly like the other ones.
Hans is a rather important character in the story, so Warhorse ensured that it was not easy to romance him. Unlike the other characters in the game, you must pick the right dialogue options through several conversations in many different quests to successfully romance Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s Hans. How To Romance Kingdom Come Deliverance 2′ Hans Capon
As we discussed, you will have to go through several story quests and pick the right lines to be successful in this endeavor. So we will break down all the quests and the dialogue options for you now.
Back in the Saddle
During the Back in the Saddle quest, you and Hans will get into a conversation, and he will express his frustration with the events of the mission. When your dialogue options appear, pick the “I’d like to give him a punch in the mouth” line to agree with Hans. Now Hans will proceed to apologize for something that happened previously. You will notice that the line “I care about you” with a heart symbol next to it will appear—pick that one. This will be a continued theme in this article, so whenever you see a dialogue option with a heart next to it, always pick it.
Taking French Leave
In this quest, there will be a time when you and Hans will have to go through a passageway. Hans will refuse to go in, saying that it is narrow and dark and that he is not going to come with you. You will have to convince him. Additionally, during this convincing, numerous dialogue options will appear, and you will have to pick all the right ones, so follow the sequence of lines given below:
- The passageway is the best option
- And what do you want to do?
- Atr you yanking my pizzle?
- We’ll manage it together
The last line will have a red heart symbol next to it, as we discussed. If you follow this sequence, you will be able to convince Hans, and he will come with you.
The Italian Job
When you interact with Hans in the Italian Job quest, Henry will say that he feels like the both of them haven’t spent much time together lately. To this, Hans will reply that it is the fault of the situation and they will be free to do as they please in no time. This sequence will have two different sets of dialogues. You must pick the right one first before the second opens up. The first two options are:
- I can’t wait
- I’m more concerned about you
Pick the “I’m more concerned about you” option—it will have a heart symbol next to it. Now the conversation will end for a short period, and you will once again get a chance to charm Hans near the end of the quest. When you interact with him the second time, follow the dialogue option mentioned below:
- The more important thing is that you are alright
- I care about you
- I know
The interaction will cease for now, and we will pick it up again in the next quest mentioned. Do not worry if you feel like you are wasting your time and nothing is happening—it is all part of the process.
Hunger and Despair
During the Hunger and Despair quest, you will find Hans sitting on a bed looking at a fireplace eventually. Interact with him, and you will start the conversation, with Henry saying that he came to say goodbye to Hans. Additionally, if you have followed the steps we mentioned so far, you will finally reach the last step with the “(Kiss Him)” option. Follow the dialogues as mentioned below one last time:
- We have a lot in common with them.
- (Kiss him)
- I’ll manage it. Don’t worry.
- You’ll manage here by yourself.
A romance scene will begin after the “(Kiss him)” option. We can’t go into the details, so we can just tell you that a blurred scene will appear in the background while the camera will focus on two swords. After this event, Henry will be way more polite to you during the rest of the game.
