Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s world is one torn apart by political rife and conflict. As kings go to war, it is always the common who suffer. The kings and the rich fight their battles but do so from the comfort and warmth of their castles. The poor suffer the consequences as the economy plummets. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 lets you experience this disparity between the rich and the poor in its “Feast for the Poor” side quest.
The Feast for the Poor side quest sees you collaborating with Chenyek and the Kuttenburg Guild to procure food for the poor. This is one of the best side quests in the game as it lets you see the ground reality of the ongoing conflict in the game. If you’re stuck on this quest and need help progressing, we’re here to help. How To Start Feast for the Poor
You begin this quest by talking to Chenyek on the eastern end of Kuttenburg. Chenyek will be seated inside a tavern, and his location will be marked on the map. Talk to Chenyek, and he will immediately pose a few questions to test your wits. Answer the first question by selecting the option that reads “Repentance.” Answer the second question by selecting “Commoners.” For the final question, select “Wenceslas.”
Follow through with the conversation and Chenyek will inform you of the Guild and their goals. Drink to the Guild, and Chenyek will suggest throwing a feast for the poor. He plans to use Sigismund to fund this feast, and this is where you come into play.
Sigismund has a personal warehouse near Bach. The warehouse is filled with delicious food, and Chenyek wants you to steal it to feed the poor. As a symbol of rebellion, you can opt to leave a cabbage in his warehouse. Accept the task and your quest begins.
How To Complete Feast for the Poor
Making Preparations
Once you’ve accepted the quest, head out of the tavern and talk to Knuckles. He will inform you that Sigismund stores luxury wine somewhere in his warehouse. Find this wine, and Knuckles can get you paid for it. You can choose to agree or decline the proposition, but we recommend accepting the offer as it pays well.
After you talk to Knuckles, he will hand you some lockpicks to use. Next, head over to a Grocer and buy some cabbage. With the lockpick and cabbage in hand, head south towards the warehouse. The warehouse’s location will be marked on the map.
At the Warehouse
The warehouse is heavily guarded, so we recommend waiting for midnight before you attempt to break in. Once it’s dark, go towards the right side of the main gate and enter the open window to gain access to the compound. Since the guards carry torches, it is easy to spot them in the dark.
Sneak past them and make your way towards the eastern end of the camp. Here, you will find a couple of large green tents. Enter the tents and loot the chests to find Sigismund’s Sausage. Replace the item in the chest with the cabbage you bought from the Grocer earlier.
Next, head north towards the main gate, and you will find a small shack before the gate. Loot the chest in the shack to get Sigismund’s Wine. With both items in hand, head back to the eastern end of the warehouse and scale the scaffolding by the wall to escape the premises.
Distributing the Food
Take the stolen food items and head back to Kuttenburg during the day. Explore the main town square, and you will find several beggars kneeling on the floor and asking for food. Head over to them and talk to them to give them the food. When the poor inquire into who sent the food, select the option that reads “Thank the Kuttenburg Guild.” Feed as many of the poor as you can and spread the word of the Guild.
Once the task is done, head back to the tavern where you met Chenyek. Knuckles will be by the gate on the outside. Talk to Knuckles and hand over the wine. You can either do so for free or demand a reward. We recommend demanding a reward as it pays well. But, if you wish to gain a reputation with the Guild, offering it for free is the better choice.
Head inside the tavern and inform Chenyek of your progress. Chenyek will appreciate your deeds, calling you a “Hero” of the poor. The conversation will then conclude, completing the Feast for the Poor quest.
