Upgrade your Future Stars midfielders in EAFC 25 with the Methodical Midfielder 2 Evolution. Unlock key boosts and prep for the final phase.
The Methodical Midfielder 2 Evolution is here, bringing another upgrade for Future Stars players in EAFC 25 Ultimate Team. This is the second step in the Future Stars Academy EVOs, pushing your Wonderkids even closer to greatness. Players upgraded in Methodical Midfielder 1 can now rise to 88 overall, gaining stronger attributes across the board.
This Evolution boosts Pace, Passing, Shooting, Dribbling, Defending, and Physicality, making your midfielders more complete. After completing all three Future Stars Evolutions, they’ll receive two PlayStyles+ and an Icon chemistry link. That final phase will make them some of the best midfielders in Ultimate Team.
Methodical Midfielder 2 Evolution in EAFC 25
The Methodical Midfielder 2 Evolution is a crucial step in the Future Stars Academy Evolution path in EAFC 25. It allows players to boost their Future Stars midfielders from 84 overall to 88 overall, setting them up for the final Evolution phase.
This Evolution enhances key attributes like Pace, Passing, and Dribbling, making your midfielders more well-rounded. If you’ve already upgraded a player in Methodical Midfielder 1, this is the natural next step. If you haven’t, it might be too late to start now.
To take part in this Evolution, your player must meet the following conditions:
- Overall: 83-84
- Rarity: Future Stars Evolution
These simple requirements make it easy to continue evolving Wonderkids who were upgraded in the first phase. However, you cannot use new players who don’t fit the Future Stars Evolution category.
Best Players
A handful of Future Stars midfielders fit perfectly into this Evolution. If you used any of them in Methodical Midfielder 1, it makes sense to upgrade them here.
Here are the best players to use:
- Ethan Nwaneri (84 OVR)
- Marcos Leonardo (84 OVR)
- Niccolo Pisilli (84 OVR)
- Arthur Vermeeren (84 OVR)
- Rocco Reitz (84 OVR)
Each of these players will upgrade to 88 overall, making them competitive against higher-tier midfielders.
Upgrades
This Evolution provides a single upgrade level, but the improvements are well worth it.
Here’s what changes once your player reaches 88 overall:
- Overall: +4
- Pace: +3 (Max 90)
- Shooting: +3
- Passing: +5
- Dribbling: +3
- Defending: +3
- Physicality: +3
How to Complete It
- Play four matches in any Ultimate Team mode with your EVO player in the squad.
This upgrade isn’t just about getting your player to 88 overall. It’s about preparing for the final phase of the Future Stars Academy Evolutions. The third and last Evolution will push these midfielders to 92 overall while adding:
- Two PlayStyles+
- An Icon chemistry link
That final upgrade will make these some of the best midfielders in Ultimate Team. If you’ve already committed to this Evolution path, you should absolutely complete this step.
