In this guide, we shall go over how to get a Handgonne in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, one of the best weapons in the game.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 features a massive selection of weapons to pick from, all of which serve to add variety to your gameplay experience. These weapons are all accurate to the 15th-century time period, helping you immerse yourself in the world better. These weapons include swords, bows, guns, crossbows, longbows, and — wait a minute — guns?! Yes, you read that right: guns!
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 features guns such as the Handgonne in the game, and they are not out of place. Believe it or not, guns started making their way across Europe during the 14th century, so firearms are right at home in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. These weapons are obviously nothing like the firearms of today, but they are still heavy hitters that can punch a hole through your enemies with ease.
The Handgonne is the first of these firearms that you find in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This weapon is found during the main story of the game, which we shall discuss below. In this guide, we shall go over how to get a Handgonne in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

As we stated earlier, the Handgonne firearm is the first firearm you acquire in the game. You get this gun during the “Finger of God” main story quest, which is the 11th main story quest in the game.
The Finger of God quest begins with you following Godwin to the graveyard while the latter discusses the events of the day. Follow him along to the graveyard, where he will ask you to bury all those who died earlier. Pick up the spade planted in the ground right in front of you and begin digging the graves. Dig the graves and bury all the bodies to complete the objective.
Noting the oppressive mood, Godwin will state that he has a surprise for you and will take you to the guard Hertel. Hertel will introduce you to the firearms in the game and let you try out the weapon yourself. You will then run through a short tutorial on the game’s shooting mechanics. After the tutorial, Hertel will give you his spare “Handgonne,” which you can keep for yourself.
