Monster Hunter Wilds Beta will take place in February 2025 and will happen in two phases. While the build and the content will be similar to the first MHW Beta in October 2024, Gypceros has been added into the mix to be hunted. There are also bonuses that players can pick up by participating in the upcoming open beta.

When Does MH Wilds Beta Start and End? Timings Explored

MHWilds Beta Phase 1 starts on February 6, 2025, at 6 pm PT and continues till February 9, 2025, at 6.59 pm PT. Phase 2 runs from February 13, 2025, at 6 pm PT and ends on February 16, 2025, at 6.59 pm PT.

Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Content

The second Beta Test will contain everything the first Open Beta Test had (Character Creation, Story Trial, Slay Doshaguma Quest) and introduce the Gypceros Hunt. You will be able to carry over the created character into the full game but any progress made will not be.

Capcom also mentioned more MHW OBT content will be part of the upcoming event but haven’t yet revealed them.

Participation in the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds beta will net hunters a Stuffed Felyne Teddy Pendant and OBT2 Bonus Item Pack. The latter will provide:

• 10x Mega Potion
• 5x Ration
• 2x Medicine
