With the latest No Man’s Sky Voyagers update, players can now use autopilot on the Corvette, a massive starship. Corvettes are large, fully customizable starships that players can pilot to explore orbits. Autopiloting the Corvette allows you to experience the space in a never-before-seen way.

It not only lets you relax and gaze through the windows but also allows you to explore and modify the Corvette’s interior design. This feature makes traveling to space stations and mission destinations seamless and hassle-free. This guide explains how to use the Corvette autopilot to make your journeys easier, efficient, and enjoyable.

How To Put Corvette in Autopilot Mode in No Man’s Sky

After building your Corvette at the Corvette Workshop, you can ferry your friends on an unforgettable out-of-this-world trip. To make it even more enjoyable, you can enable autopilot mode. Here is how you can use the Corvette autopilot:

  • While riding the Corvette from the cockpit, bring up the quick menu by pressing X.
  • You will find the Autopilot Management option while cycling through the menu. It will appear as the third option from the right, after the Galaxy Map and the Leave Pilot Seat options.
  • Selecting Autopilot Management brings up various options like Maintain current flightpath, autopiloting to nearby station, and planets.
  • Choosing any of these options puts the Corvette in autopilot mode, allowing you to step away from the captain’s seat while the starship is in motion.

You can autopilot the Corvette to reach space stations, discovered planets, and mission destinations. If you want the autopilot to follow your current flight path, you can set it that way as well. This removes the need for manual piloting, letting you focus on other tasks inside the starship. While exploring the Corvette, you can enjoy the view with your friends or travel solo.

Additionally, you can explore the different compartments and design the interior of the starship via build mode. Once the ship reaches the atmosphere of planets or destinations, you will need to take back manual control and land it on the surface. You can also open the accessway to scan for highlights and explore the surrounding space directly.
