Sprigatito Community Day is almost here! It’s your chance to catch loads of Sprigatito, enjoy exciting bonuses, and participate in special challenges. Here’s everything you should know to make the most of this fun event.
When Is Pokemon GO Sprigatito Community Day
Mark your calendar for Sunday, January 5, 2025. The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Don’t miss these three action-packed hours!
Spotlight on Sprigatito
Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Pokemon, will show up more often during the event. If you’re lucky, you might spot its Shiny version! It’s the perfect time to expand your collection.
Featured Attacks for Meowscarada
Frenzy Plant
Evolve Floragato (Sprigatito’s evolved form) during the event or within five hours after it ends. You’ll get a Meowscarada that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant. This powerful move delivers 100 power in Trainer Battles, Gyms, and raids.
Flower Trick
Starting with this Community Day, Meowscarada can also learn the Charged Attack Flower Trick. Its power is 30 in Trainer Battles and 75 in Gyms or raids.
Special Research Adventures
For $2.00 (or local pricing), you can unlock exclusive Special Research. This includes rewards like a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and encounters with Sprigatito featuring unique backgrounds from the Dual Destiny season. Tickets can be purchased or gifted to friends who are Great Friends or higher. Remember, tickets are non-refundable.
Timed Research
After Community Day, Timed Research keeps the momentum alive. Log in during the event to access it. Complete the tasks by Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time. Rewards include an encounter with a special Sprigatito.
Event Bonuses
Take advantage of these bonuses during the event:
- Triple Stardust for catching Pokemon.
- Double Candy for each catch.
- A higher chance for Trainers above level 31 to earn Candy XL.
- Lure Modules and regular Incense last three hours.
- Snap a few photos for a fun surprise.
- Make two Special Trades with half the Stardust cost (bonus active until 10:00 p.m.).
Field Research and PokeStop Showcases
Community Day-themed Field Research will reward you with Stardust, Great Balls, and more encounters with Sprigatito. Some PokeStops will also host Showcases. Don’t forget to check them out while you’re out exploring!
Exclusive Event Bundles
The Pokemon GO Web Store will feature an Ultra Community Day Box for $4.99. It includes:
- 10 Ultra Balls
- One Elite Charged TM
- One Special Research ticket
This deal goes live on December 30, 2024.
In-game bundles will also be available:
- 1,350 PokeCoins: 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, one Elite Charged TM, and five Lucky Eggs.
- 480 PokeCoins: 30 Ultra Balls, one Incense, three Super Incubators, and one Lure Module.
Event Stickers
