Revenge of the Savage Planet: How To Get Underwater Scooter

In this guide, we shall go over how to get the Underwater Scooter, also called the Franx Underwater Scooter, in Revenge of the Savage Planet. 

Revenge of the Savage Planet has a ton of tools, with the game’s emphasis on tools being almost metroidvania-esque. All the tools in the game serve to unlock previously inaccessible areas. Your journey through the Zenithian Rift calls for the need for an underwater scooter, setting off the “Under the (Frozen) Sea” quest.

The hunt for the Underwater Scooter is no easy task and requires you to traverse multiple areas and craft several gadgets in the process. You even have to beat one of the tougher bosses in the game to get your hands on the scooter. If you’re stuck on this quest and need help, you’ve come to the right place. How To Retrieve the Underwater Scooter

Get the Stomp Booster

You find the Underwater Scooter as part of the “Under the (Frozen) Sea” quest in the game. This quest sends you out on the hunt for supply crates, one of which has the Underwater Scooter. The quest begins near the Crash Site in the Zenithian Rift and leads you to the Brrrts Frozen Grotto. Inside, grapple up to the upper levels and follow the quest marker to return to the Crash Site. Parkour across the ice platforms ahead and follow the marker to the container.

As you begin hacking, you’ll be swarmed by enemies, so run around the platform and fend them off. Hack the container to get the Stomp Booster ability, and craft it back at the Habitat. Return to the Brrrts Frozen Grotto and use the stomp ability to break through the thin ice on the surface and reach the Depths of Trrn.

Towards the Air Filter

Follow the main path until you enter the poison geyser room. Activate the teleporter to your right and scale up the wall beside it to discover a path. Platform across until you see a moving platform. Stomp the moving platform to unlock a secret exit. Rush through and exit the chamber to reach Plyxor’s Shaft.

In Plyxor’s Shaft, stick to the path on the left to discover another teleporter. Look above and scan the glowing plasma rail. You can use this rail to travel, but you’ll require a Hawx Rail Grinder to do so. Head to the Habitat to craft the tool and return to the plasma rail. Traverse the plasma rail and follow the objective marker across a linear upward path to reach Bilodeau’s Floating Isle.

Take the path on the left to reach the teleporter and activate it. Return to the entrance and take the path on the right to find platforms. Stick to the linear path to reach a hackable supply crate. Hack the crate and fend off the swarming enemies to obtain the Default Air Filter.

Towards the Underwater Scooter

Take the plasma rails nearby heading up the cliff to the Summit of Ruin. There’s a large cave before you. Enter the cave and scan the Alpha Toxwin. The creature has a device you can use to modify the air filter you picked up earlier. Capture this creature and head back to the Habitat to commence research.

Once the research is complete, craft the Toxic DeShocker and return to the Depths of Trrn. Stomp the two marked floating rocks to break open a new path. Drop down into the pit below, and you’ll have to face Crawbarella. The boss has glowing weak spots on its body. Defeat Crawbarella and follow the path past it to unlock the Franx Underwater Scooter.
