Adentus in Throne and Liberty is a Level 50 Guild boss who can be found and fought in the Ruins of Turayne.
The lands of Solisium are filled with several enemies and monstrosities primed for you to slay. These enemies display varying levels of designs, skills, movesets, and more. While they exist for you to fulfill your fantasy of hunting monsters in a medieval land, you could very well find yourself being the hunted if you’re not careful when approaching them. No enemy holds this philosophy up more than the Guild bosses of Throne and Liberty. Adentus is a Level 50 Guild boss found in the Ruins of Turayne toward the southern end. Adentus is a giant boss that regularly utilizes AoE attacks to his advantage, and can take out large chunks of your Guild if not careful.
In this guide, we shall go over the Adentus boss, his mechanics, and the attacks you should watch out for as you take him head-on.
Look Out for These Attacks While Facing the Adentus Guild Boss
Adentus is a giant with features resembling an ogre. He also carries around a massive hammer (and yes, that hammer hits just as hard as you think). The boss has a bunch of attacks you need to look out for. He also mixes and matches these attacks to throw you off and punish complacent players.
Triple Hammer Smash Attack
Adentus carries around a massive hammer and needs no excuse to use it on you. When you hear the boss yell, “Overturn,” it is your cue to create distance. The boss will then raise his hammer and smash it onto the ground three times within arm’s distance. This area is marked by a red circle. You should be safe from the triple smash so long as you maintain your distance.
Yellow Circle Attack
The boss cues this attack the same way he does the hammer smash attack: by yelling, ”Overturn.” Adentus will then spawn yellow circles on the ground that explode after a few seconds. Avoid these circles to stay safe. Adentus may also shoot out electricity. Keep your eyes on the ground to predict the attack and react accordingly.
Fury Attack
Adentus also has a strong Fury attack that can wipe your Guild out in a flash if not careful. The boss cues this attack by yelling, “This will be your grave.” He will then pull players toward themselves with his chain, leaving them exposed to damage. This attack can be predicted by the audio cue or a purple attack indicator.
