Here’s an overview of the possible reasons for the Different Milestones Server Error in Throne and Liberty and what it means for the game.
Throne and Liberty launched globally on October 1, 2024, and players are currently facing a few issues that the developers are working to resolve. The Different Milestones Server Error is one of them. This server error occurs when players try to migrate from the Early Access server to the Full Release server.
The Early Access for Throne and Liberty opened on September 26, 2024, five days before the global launch. Since then, NCSoft, the developer of Throne and Liberty, has conducted several maintenance breaks and fixed some known issues. The servers are currently expanding to more regions.

Throne and Liberty Different Milestones Server Error
Several players have been facing the Different Milestones Server Error, when trying to switch from the Early Access (EA) server to the Full Release (FR) server. This is because some of the milestones completed in the Early Access versions are not compatible with the New Version. As a result, players are unable to transfer their characters from the Early Access server to the Full Release server. They have to create a new character to join their friends on the Full Release server.
Many players have already made a considerable amount of progress in the game by purchasing the Early Access version. Hence, the inability to transfer the Early Access character is quite frustrating for them. Amazon Games has already announced that server transfers are free till October 17.
As of now, there is no official fix for the issue. The developers took a maintenance break on server transfers recently, but it is not known whether the error was resolved.

It is recommended to keep trying to switch from the EA server to the FR server. There is a possibility that the developers may address the issue and resolve it soon.

Milestones are events in Throne and Liberty that grant rewards to players upon completion. These are classified into:
