Throne and Liberty features several bosses and enemies for you to take on with your Guild, further fostering a sense of community and engagement in the game. These bosses, naturally, are amped up in difficulty and require a high level of mechanical skill and upgraded gear to tackle. The Grand Aelon is a Level 50 Guild boss found at the eastern end of Purelight Hill deep in the forest. The Grand Aelon resembles a majestic redwood tree and deems itself the protector of the forest that hunts all intruders indiscriminately. The boss uses a variety of ranged, AOE, and melee attacks and primarily acts as a DPS check for your Guild.

In this guide, we shall go over the Grand Aleon Guild boss fight, the boss’s movesets and attacks, as well as the rewards that await you at the end of the fight.

Look Out for These Attacks While Facing the Grand Aelon Guild Boss

The Grand Aelon boss rarely gets up close and personal on his own during the fight and instead relies on ranged thorn and fury attacks to damage your party. However, if you do close distance to deal damage to the boss, he shows no reluctance in throwing hands. Below, we have shared the attacks that you should be wary of.

Fury Attack

The Grand Aelon uses a Fury attack that sends a wide blast, tearing through any and all players in the arena. This attack is difficult to dodge, and we recommend blocking it instead. The attack is cued by purple Fury attack indicator.

Thorn Cones Attack

The boss uses a line of thorn cones to damage players all over the arena. These cones spawn at the Grand Aelon’s feet and tear through in a straight line to the end of the arena, hitting all players. We recommend sidestepping these to avoid damage.

Thorn Cages

When overwhelmed, the boss will imprison a large number of players in thorn cages in an effort to control the crowd. The players trapped in the cages will take damage over time. They cannot escape on their own. The players outside the cages must damage the cage to break out their Guild members.
