Throne and Liberty reveals the Siege the Day event to build hype for its Western release, allowing viewers to earn in-game cosmetic rewards.
Throne and Liberty is an MMORPG Developed by NCSOFT and Published by Amazon Games. While the full version of Throne and Liberty launched in Korea in December 2023, the Western launch will not happen fully until October 1, 2024. To build up good press and hype for the Western release, Throne and Liberty announced the Siege the Day event in a recent news post. The event will feature content creators from both North America and Europe clashing over various regional crowns across multiple PvP activities. The event begins on September 24th.
How to Earn Twitch Drops During the Seige the Day Event
To earn Twitch drops during Throne and Liberty’s Seige the Day event, you first need to link your Twitch account to your Amazon Games and Steam accounts. To do this go your settings in Twitch and select the Connections tab. From there, you should see the Amazon account and Steam account at the top of the Recommended Connections list. Click the Connect button on each one and sign into your accounts from there. Your accounts should now be connected.
All you have to do to earn your cosmetic drops now is to watch the Official Amazon Games Twitch channel or a participating creator channel for 90 minutes on each day that the event is live. See the following rewards schedule below:
Day 1 Rewards
- Title: Siege the Day (30 minutes total)
- Amitoi: Great-Fanged Figmen (90 minutes total)
Day 2 Rewards
- Title: Siege the Day (30 minutes total)
- Note: If you earn this Title on day 1, you will not be able to earn it again on day 2.
- Morph: Caerulean Cygnus (90 minutes total)
The participating content creators and teams haven’t been revealed yet, but they did promise more information soon.
Siege the Day Event Schedule
The Seige the Day event will take place on September 24 and 25 and will showcase several activities on both days. You can opt to watch the official Amazon Games channel for gameplay, highlights, and insights, or you can go support your favorite participating content creator on their streams. Remember that you can earn drops from watching either way, so feel free to watch who you want. The schedule for the various activities is below:
- September 24: 2 p.m. PT (9 p.m. UTC) – North American creator competition
- 3v3 Arenas, Battle for the Boonstone, and Castle Siege
- September 25: 10 a.m. PT (5:00 p.m. UTC) – European creator competition
- 3v3 Arenas, Battle for the Riftstone, and Castle Siege
