If you are a Warrior in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, we have compiled a list of the best warrior weapons to consider. The game offers three classes to choose from, including Warriors, Mages, and Rogues. Each of these classes brings something different to the table.

Those who became Warriors can quickly wipe a room full of enemies using powerful physical abilities. There are different weapons that each class uses, and Warriors are no exception. You can use this to your advantage by equipping powerful, unique weapons that complement your playstyle.

Warriors only have three types of weapons. They can use a Main-Hand weapon and a Two-Handed weapon. A Shield is also available to use with the Main-Hand weapon simultaneously.

NOTE: The following list is not ranked in any way.

Best Warrior Weapons in Dragon Age: The Veilguard

1. Dark Shard +5 (Main-Handed)

This weapon doesn’t deal usual physical damage. However, this one offers 196 Necrotic Damage instead. You also get a staggering 466 Stagger. Two perks include 15% to Necrotic Resistance and Necrotic Damage individually. An additional bonus is that critical hits will apply Necrosis on enemies if not already applied.

This longsword can be obtained in the Upper Inner Cells of The Ossuary. It wouldn’t be available at level 5 right away but you can always upgrade your weapons later.

2. Guard’s Broadaxe +6 (Main-Handed)

This one deals 276 physical damage. On the other hand, you also get to deal 413 Stagger damage to your enemies. A perk is an additional 20% damage while at low health. If you don’t have potions, your final attacks will be Critical to the enemy. Charged Attacks also deal critical damage if the enemy is Overwhelmed.

Once you unlock the Mourn Watch faction camp, you can visit their faction merchant to purchase this broadaxe. Its base form will likely be available for 825 Gold.

3. Bandit’s Bulwark +6 (Shield)

Shields will be a useful asset to you when you are using your Main-Handed weapon to deal main damage. Although a Shield doesn’t have to have good damage, you can still be the ‘First Avenger’ in your lore by dealing 278 Physical Damage with this Shield. It also has a 775 Stagger and a 20% increase to Heavy attack damage. Equipping this Shield will grant you an additional 25% damage against armors. Gain Immovable ability when breaking an enemy’s armor.

You may find this shield while exploring the open world but our best bet on finding the Bandit’s Bulwark was buying it from the same Mourn Watch faction store. We obtained it for 600 Gold.

4. Elven Rockbreaker +6 (Two-Handed)

Become a beast by equipping this powerful weapon. Deal 298 Physical damage and 1232 Stagger damage. There is a 15% increase to Rage generation and an 8% increase to Rage upon securing a kill. Using Rage three times in a short duration will grant you Enhanced Damage.

One of the locations we found the Elven Rockbreaker in was the Arlathan Crater. To be more precise, visit the Temple Gardens and open a chest there which will grant you access to this two-handed weapon. You might also be able to buy it from one of the faction merchants but we are not so sure of that.

5. Anvil Breaker +7 (Two-Handed)

This abomination offers you 333 Physical damage and 1114 Stagger damage. It offers Perks like a 25% Stagger increase, 20% damage increase when using Charged Heavy attacks, and 50% more damage to Overwhelmed enemies in a fight. With all these perks and already-enhanced stats, you will be unstoppable.

We found two ways of getting the Anvil Breaker. Both of them was buying it from one of the two merchants. One is Shadow Dragons Faction Store. The merchant here sells it for 700 Gold. The Black Emporium Shop, however, offers the same weapon for 27 Etheric Remnants.

These weapons will give you an edge in battle if you have the Warrior class. Combine these with our Best Warrior Build as per your needs and you should be all set.
