In this guide, we shall go over how to find food for Mutt in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s Easy Riders quest.
As Henry and Co. head to Trosky with an important document, they are intercepted by Captain Thomas’ squad, who suspect them to be armed bandits. After a heated conversation, Captain Thomas agrees to escort Henry and the team to Trosky. The crew then heads to a makeshift camp, where they settle down to gather their breaths.
Just as you settle down in the camp, Henry’s dog, Mutt, restlessly paces about the makeshift camp, barking in everyone’s faces. Clearly, the little pup is hungry, and it is up to you to find food for Mutt. The game marks finding food for Mutt as an optional objective, but finding food for a cute little dog is anything but optional to us.
The camp is vast but has very few food items in sight, making this optional objective a little tricky. If you’re looking to find food for Mutt but don’t know where to look, our guide has you covered. How To Find Food for Mutt
The first thing you see in the camp is the giant cooking pot atop the campfire at the center. Head over to the pot and talk to Oats beside it to request some food for Mutt. Oats will then inform you that Mutt grabbed some venison earlier and has had his fill. Oats does have one sausage left but wishes to save that for the trip back.
Next, you will be given a set of dialogue options to choose from. Select the option that reads, “I’ll bring you something from the Nobles’ feast.” Henry will then try to broker a deal for the sausage in exchange for some food from the feast. After a bit of deliberation, Oats will cave in and hand over the sausage to you while also telling you about the food he wants from the feast.
Once you have the food in hand, whistle and call over Mutt. The little pup will run over to you in excitement. Interact with Mutt and click on the “Feed” button (1 on PC, X on PS5, A on Xbox) to feed Mutt.

Other Ways To Get Food
While brokering a deal for the sausage is your best bet, you can also get food by selecting the “You wouldn’t want Mutt to bite you” and “What would you swap that sausage for?” options. We do not recommend going for the former as it drops your reputation. If you select the latter, Oats will ask you to retrieve his ring from Tankard, which you can do by winning a dice game.
