How To Find and Pray at Kamikura Shrine in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Players can find and pay their respects to Kamikura Shrine in Assassin’s Creed Shadows in order to get some rewards tied to their progression.

Kamikura Shrine is situated in the Kii Region in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. It is a complex of different buildings, and it holds two shrines. There are a lot of these shrine complexes in Shadows, and all of them can hold multiple shrine locations.

Additionally, Ubisoft has knit these places with the game’s new progression system. So it gives players a motivation to seek them out and interact with this optional objective. Now, we will go into more detail regarding Kamikura Shrine.

All Kamikura Shrine Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Kii Region is located in the south of the Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ map, and it holds the Kamikura Shrine. However, to get the exact location of this shrine complex, players must take a look at the far east of the Kii Region.

There they will spot a river emerging from the sea and dividing the land, and the Kamikura Shrine will be directly south of it. Additionally, there is also a viewpoint quite close to the Shrine’s location, so if you have unlocked it already, you can simply fast travel to that location. As we discussed, Kamikura Shrine in Assassin’s Creed Shadows has two different shrine locations. So, let’s take a comprehensive look at both of them.

Kamikura Shrine Location One

The first shrine is arguably the easiest optional objective in the entire game. The Kamikura Shrine complex sits on top of a hill, so you must take the appropriate path to reach it. Once you enter the Kamikura Shrine complex by following the stone path, you will come across a stone staircase and the first location instantly because it is right in front of the main gate. Then, simply start praying and wait for the animation to finish to complete the first objective.

Kamikura Shrine Location Two

Once you are done with the first shrine, head down the stone stairs and go to your left. Then, walk in a straight line until you reach the back of the first location. From there, take a right and exit through the gate that leads into the hills. There, you will find more stone stairs. After that, you will have to use these stairs and climb the rocks in front of you to go up. However, you must stop at the third staircase and look to your right to find the second and last shrine location. Now, you must repeat the process and start praying to complete Kamikura Shrine.

Rewards for Completing Kamikura Shrine

Similar to the other shrine complexes in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you will get 500 XP and a single Knowledge Point after completing Kamikura Shrine.
