The Whisper of Muramasa is a legendary long katana that comes packed with high Weapon DPS, Posture DPS, and Ability damage. If the overall high offensive output is not enough, the legendary long katana also has an engraving that makes enemies vulnerable upon riposte. This ability is great for those who like playing on the defensive and dealing damage in the form of counterattacks.

Where To Find the Whisper of Muramasa Long Katana in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You get the Whisper of Muramasa legendary long katana for completing the Kurai Eikyou side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This is an assassination-based side quest that sends you on the hunt for five shadowy targets. These targets are the Messenger, Akiyama Agent, Blacksmith Agent, Katsuragi Agent, and Tsutsui Agent.

Their locations are as given below: 

• The Messenger: This agent is in the Nara Heartlands of the Yamato region, directly north of the Kofukuji Pagoda viewpoint.
• The Akiyama Agent: This agent is in the Daimyo Residence at the northeastern end of the Yamato region.
• The Blacksmith Agent: The Blacksmith is on the mid-eastern end of Yamato along the coast. The agent is southeast of the Utano Tower viewpoint, near the Miyataki Warehouse.
• The Katsuragi Agent: This agent is in Katsuragi on the midwestern end of the Yamato region. The agent is northeast of the Mizumi Pagoda viewpoint.
• The Tsutsui Agent: The last agent is in Koriyama Castle in Koriyama, Yamato. This is directly south of the Koriyama Forest viewpoint.

Assassinate all the targets and head back to Fuyu. Talk to Fuyu and then head right along the external shrine stairs and past the shrine gates. Continue upward until you reach the second gate. The Whisper of Muramasa is resting by a tree before the second gate.
