How To Beat Endo Tomoyasu (The Betrayers) in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Finding and slaying Endo Tomoyasu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is an optional objective. Today, we will tell you how you can complete it.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has various guilds or groups that give you the opportunity to hunt them. This is similar to the assassination contracts in previous AC titles but with a twist. The Betrayers are one of these organizations. Players can track the various members of this particular group in Shadows, as both Naoe and Yasuke. Additionally, this is an optional quest, so it is entirely up to you if you want to do it or not.

How To Find and Assassinate Endo Tomoyasu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Before you can go on your journey to seek Endo Tomoyasu, you must start The Betrayers quest. Players can begin this optional mission by going to the settlement north of the Mouth of Seta viewpoint in the Omi Region. There, you will find a man named Hori Hidemasa. Once you speak to him as Yasuke, The Betrayers quest will begin, and you will be tasked with assassinating seven individuals.

Endo Tomoyasu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is one of the seven Betrayers. To find him, you will have to journey quite far. This mysterious man will be at Koyasan Village, located in the Kii Region. When you reach there, if you struggle to find Endo, then we recommend that you scout the eastern area of the settlements near the Koyasan Kakurega spot.

Once the blue marker for the target appears on your map, go straight toward that location. On your way, you will find a shallow river. However, there will be a wooden bridge you can use to cross it. Right after the bridge, you will finally reach the optional objective’s location, and a cutscene will trigger. Additionally, the developers have thrown a curveball for the players here, and instead of your target, you will meet a person named Hori Hidemasa.

This individual will inform you that Endo Tomoyasu has already met his demise at his hands. Hidemasa will then tell you that you can either leave or meet the same fate as the Betrayer. However, your chosen character will tell Hori that they are not an enemy and only came to help, so things will cool down quite quickly. After this short conversation, the cutscene will be over, and the Endo Tomoyasu assassination mission in Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be complete.

Rewards

The entire Betrayers questline is an optional one, so unfortunately, it does not provide any epic rewards. However, it will help you with progression in the game, and you will get 360 Mon as well as 2000 XP.
