The Silver Smugglers is one of the many groups you come across while playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows. All seven members of this group partake in smuggling stolen silver for teppo from the Portuguese. Then they sell the teppo rifles to the bandits for huge profits. You must now stop these smugglers, as these weapons can harm innocent people if they fall into the wrong hands.

Location of The Teppo Smuggler in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You can find the Teppo Smuggler on the northern side of Yakami Fort. Yakami is a small city in the southern Tamba region, near the center. You can travel east from Takeda or west from Takeyama to reach Yakami.

The target is in the middle of a crowded area accompanied by many of his men. You can use the image above to find out his exact location.

How To Beat The Teppo Smuggler in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

We recommend using Naoe for this mission due to her stealth capabilities. Start from the southern cliff wall of the area where the smuggler is. There are many wooden beams and platforms, where you can perch to get a good view of the area. Use your observation to mark all the enemies, as it can help you prevent being jumped on suddenly. 

Right in the middle of the area, there are three men between the cloth barriers on a wooden platform. Your target is the man standing on the right side of the two men. Throw kunai at the other two in succession to thin out the numbers. From here, you can jump down the walls and slowly approach the Teppo Smuggler to assassinate him from behind. 

He has six health chunks; therefore, a one-shot assassination might not be possible without proper gear and skills. However, it does lower his health by quite a bit. The smuggler is a man of huge stature and uses a long katana to make slow but powerful slashes. He mostly does unstoppable sword slashes, which you need to avoid by dodging to the side. 

Sometimes, he does attacks that you can parry. Time your deflect perfectly to parry the attack, which makes him vulnerable. This gives you the perfect opportunity to dish out high amounts of damage. Additionally, due to his lack of ranged attacks, you can always disengage him to deal with his henchmen if they give you trouble. Bring his health down to zero to finish him off.
