Before you head on to look for different ways to begin the Claws of Awaji DLC, you need to learn that it is only free to access for those who pre-ordered the game. However, those who did not pre-order have to pay an additional $25 to enjoy the DLC.

Additionally, Ubisoft has already mentioned on their official website the detailed objectives required to access the Claws of Awaji Expansion in AC Shadows. Below are the specific objectives that you should complete to begin the DLC:

  • Complete the main storyline for both protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke.
  • Complete the personal quests for Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro.
  • Finish the final mission, Out of the Shadows.
