The Katana is a weapon that made samurai distinctive from the rest of the soldier categories. In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Naoe can wield the Katana for close-quarters combat if all hell breaks loose after a futile assassination attempt.

The Katana has multiple rarity types; the best of all is Legendary. Here are all the Legendary Katana in Assassin’s Creed Shadows for Naoe and where you can find them.

With the help of a Katana, you can hastily take down a horde of approaching enemies with Naoe. You can discover four legendary Katana spread around the nine regions in the game. Here are all of them:

1. Bloodshade Katana

Finding the Bloodshade Katana is an arduous task. From the Sakai Port in Izumi Settsu, take a boat and row to the giant ship east of Osaka. Instead of taking a straightforward path, you can row around the vessels in the middle, saving some time so your boat won’t break due to the water pressure of the sea.

After you reach the ship, you can exit the boat and start climbing it. You can find the Bloodshade Katana locked in a chest in the uppermost compartment.

2. Iga’s Flame Katana

The Iga’s Flame legendary Katana can be found in the Yamato region at Mount Nukai. Inside a cave at the eastern top of the mountain, you can find the Katana hidden in a treasure chest.

3. Masked Death Katana

The Masked Death Katana is located in a treasure chest in the Iga district, near the Otori Pass that is situated in the Shimigahara Valley. This valley is nestled to the north of the Buddhas of Shimigahara.

4. Yami no Kage Katana

The final legendary Katana, Yami no Kage, can be discovered in the Harima region at the Hiraiyama Fort, located west of the Warfields. While it is located inside a chest, you need to defeat the two Samurai Daisho who scout the area in the towers.

After you kill them, head into the main building and retrieve the Katana from the chest.

5. Carved Bone Katana

You can purchase the legendary Carved Bone Katana for 450 Helix Points in the Helix shop.

6. Cerulean Arc

Reaching rank 18 of the Awakening Shadows Project in the Animus Hub rewards you with the Cerulean Arc Katana.

7. Eikyo Katana

You can purchase the legendary Carved Bone Katana for 450 Helix Points in the Helix shop.

8. Eye of the Dragon

You can purchase the legendary Carved Bone Katana for 450 Helix Points in the Helix shop.

9. Violent Night

For the Violent Night legendary katana, you must complete the ‘The Yokai’ sidequest; it is a reward for completing this quest.

10. Snakebite

The main storyline quest, “The Performer,” includes the Snakebite Legendary katana.

11. Steel Blossom

This Katana is obtainable as a reward from a main storyline quest called ‘Lost Honor.’

12. Dragon’s Edge

The final legendary Katana, Dragon’s Edge, is a reward for completing the storyline quest named ‘Topple The Traitor.’
