Assassin’s Creed Shadows has three types of in-game currencies that you can obtain through different processes. While two of these can be earned through the normal gameplay loop, one is only available through microtransactions.

Let’s discuss the different currencies in AC Shadows, how to earn them, and what you can use them for.

All Assassin’s Creed Shadows Currencies

The following in-game currencies are available to players in AC Shadows:

  • Mon: Players can get this from in-game quests and activities. Mons serve various purposes, including getting gear and weapons (and their customizations), Hideout customizations, Mounts, and Ally upgrades. You can also unlock fast-traveling locations using Mons. We suggest completing Contracts to quickly farm Mon in-game.
  • Keys: Players can get this from Animus Hub Projects. Similar to Mon, Keys can be used to get gear and weapons (and their customizations), Hideout customizations, Ally customizations, and Mounts.
  • Helix Credits: These aren’t available through the normal gameplay loop of Shadows. Instead, players must purchase them through the in-game store or their platform store. Gear and weapons customizations, hideout customizations, Hideout resources, Ally customizations, Mounts, Maps, and Mon can also be obtained through Helix Credits.
