Assassin’s Creed Shadows Announces Collaboration With Dead by Daylight

Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ first collaboration has been announced, and it’s with none other than the horror survival game Dead by Daylight.

Ubisoft has announced the first collaboration for its latest Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The game had a big launch back in March 2025, and it seems that Ubisoft is aiming to strike while the iron is still hot.

The roadmap for the game, which was unveiled around two weeks ago, did mention a special collaboration in late May. This collaboration has now been confirmed to be with Dead By Daylight.

The collaboration will begin on May 27, 2025. Although the post above was cryptic by itself, we can surmise that the collaboration will take place in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

This is primarily because of three reasons.

Firstly, Assassin’s Creed is the one who announced the collaboration, and the Dead By Daylight page re-tweeted the message.

Secondly, the original roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows mentioned the collaboration. However, there was no such mention from Dead By Daylight’s side.

Lastly, Dead By Daylight recently unveiled its collaborations with Five Nights at Freddy’s and The Witcher, making it unlikely to have another collaboration so soon.

As mentioned by the post, we can expect a special Dead By Daylight-themed quest within Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Presently, we do not know the exact details of this collaboration.

However, this will likely get clearer as we approach the release date. Although, we can still make educated guesses regarding the content of this quest.
