Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Miyanoue Fort Guide

Learn how to locate, clear, and loot Miyanoue Fort in Assassin’s Creed Shadows for legendary gear, XP, and mastery rewards.

Forts are enemy camps in Assassin’s Creed Shadows that are smaller in scale than castles, making them easy pickings for players looking to level up and acquire their loot. The Miyanoue Fort in southeast Harima is home to two Samurai Daisho and a legendary chest. The fort is located close to the border with Izumi Settsu, making it accessible in the early game to enhance your build with legendary items.

Miyanoue Fort Location in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Miyanoue Fort is situated directly south of Miki Castle and north of Nakayama Peak in the Harima province. The Senri Hills Kakurega is one of the closest fast-travel locations to the fort. From the kakurega, head northwest past Nunobiki Falls and the main road to reach Miyanoue Fort. 

Clearing Miyanoue Fort

The main challenge of Miyanoue Fort is its two Samurai Daisho, heavily armored enemies that can prove difficult to defeat. There is a small group of low-level enemies positioned near either Samurai Daisho. If you wish to clear the fort with brute force, pick a weapon that deals armor-piercing, high single-target damage.

For a clean stealth approach, pick Naoe and follow the steps given below. 

• Approaching the fort from the western road, cross the first gate and climb the wall on the left side of the second gate. 

• Three guards will be camping around a bonfire to your right. Eliminate them silently after using a smoke bomb to get the Damage After Deflect (Rare Engraving) in the small chest next to them. 

• Facing the fort (east) again, creep up on the first Samurai Daisho standing beside a large bonfire, and assassinate him. 

• Sneak to the right side of the fort wall ahead and skirt around the wooden tower to find a gap in the fence. 

• Heading inside, you will spot the second Samurai Daisho standing in a clearing. 

• Circle right until you are behind him, near the partially destroyed wooden house. Sneak up behind the Samurai Daisho and assassinate him.

• Circle the aforementioned house from the right side, and stealth-kill the guard at its entrance. 

• Head inside to loot the Miyanoue Fort Legendary Chest and receive 3000 XP, Lethal Lotus Petal (Legendary Long Katana), and Instant Kill From Poison (Legendary Engraving).

Miyanoue Fort Rewards

These are the rewards you can expect to receive after completing the Miyanoue Fort activities:

• 3,000 XP
• 2 Mastery Points
• Lethal Lotus Petal (Legendary Long Katana)
• Instant Kill From Poison (Legendary Engraving)
• Damage After Deflect (Rare Engraving)

The Mastery Points are gained by defeating the Samurai Daisho, and you must open the Miyanoue Fort Legendary Chest to receive the XP, legendary katana, and engraving.
