Assassin’s Creed Shadows Takeda Castle Guide: All Samurai Daisho Location, Rewards, and More

Infiltrate, kill high-value targets, and earn legendary rewards in Takeda Castle by following this simple Assassin’s Creed Shadows guide.

Takeda Castle is one of the most well-guarded castles in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The human defenses in this castle make it a difficult task to loot its legendary chest. As Naoe, you have several tools at your disposal to sneak in and stay hidden. However, things can still prove difficult if you don’t know what you are doing. For starters, you would want to visit the Tamba region and head to the settlement in the far west to find the Takeda Castle.

Takeda Castle Samurai Daishos Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Each castle has Samurai Daishos guarding the grounds. They can vary in numbers. In the Takeda Castle, you will find five Samurai Daishos. They are fierce opponents when faced in open combat, even when playing as Yasuke. So, when playing as Naoe, you would want to avoid open combat with them and Assassinate them conveniently while trying your best not to compromise your stealth.

We suggest you scout Takeda Castle through the rooftops to stay hidden for the most part. Use your Observation to mark a Samurai Daisho when you spot one. Once marked, they will have a Samurai helmet icon over their heads. This will allow you to track them even if you lose direct sight. Now, once you have marked all five Daishos, make a small plan to Assassinate each of them individually. You may need to improvise at times because of the heavy security in Takeda. Don’t forget to loot them for some additional valuables and gear.

Reaping the Rewards in Takeda Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Once you have put down all five Samurai Daishos in the castle, you can head straight for the Legendary Chest here. It is located right in the middle of the settlement, in a big square building. You will find the chest slightly towards the north corner of the building. After completing the castle and opening the chest, you will be left with the following rewards:

• 3,000 XP
• 5 Mastery Points
• Hidden Servant Hat – Legendary Headgear
