Your hideout is a place to rest and catch your breath. Here are the five best rooms to upgrade in your Hideout in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Early on in the game, Tomiko will allow you to use her home as your Hideout. This Hideout is one of the most important tools at your disposal and will be of great help in Naoe and Yasuke’s journey.
The Hideout contains many rooms, each performing a different function. These range from upgrading your weapons to training your allies to improving your ration efficiency. However, not all of these rooms are equally useful, and deciding which one to prioritize can be daunting.
So, to help you out, here are the 5 best Hideout upgrades in Assassin’s Creed Shadows:
5. Dojo

The Dojo is a very powerful tool for those who want to make use of their allies. This training hall allows you to upgrade your allies to the Initiate level. Upgrading the structure to level two allows you to use two allies. Level three allows you to upgrade them to the Veteran level.
A fully upgraded team of allies is incredibly powerful backup on the field. As such, upgrading the Dojo is worth the investment.
4. Forge

The Forge is one of the first rooms you can build in your Hideout, and it allows you to upgrade your weapons. In Shadows, more powerful weapons are a must to deal with the many powerful enemies in the game. Thus, the ability to upgrade your weapons becomes crucial.
At level one, this building can upgrade weapons up to level 20. Since you cannot use weapons higher level than you, you can hold off on upgrading the Forge until you are close to level 20. Level two of the Forge also allows you to give your weapons powerful enhancements.
3. Stable

The Stable comes pre-built when you obtain the Hideout. This room lets you send two scouts to collect stockpiles around the map. Upgrading it should be a top priority, as it lets you send only one scout to collect the stockpiles.
Additionally, upgrading the Stable to level three increases the resources collected from stockpiles by 20%.
2. Study

The Study is deceptively simple but incredibly useful. Building this adds one scout to the league and reduces the search zone for quests by 25%. Further upgrades to the Study add more scouts to the league.
Furthermore, level three of this structure also reduces the search zone by 60%. A fully upgraded Study makes it much easier to locate quest markers.
1. Kakurega

The Kakurega is the first building you are required to build and acts as your main base. Building this at your Hideout allows Kakurega outposts in the open world to become fast-travel points. It also grants you a scout, and seasonal contracts, and lets you restock supplies.
Upgrading this building unlocks rumors for points of interest in the open world. You can also send your scouts to clear your reputation in a region if you are wanted there. The Kakurega’s features are the most fundamental and important in the Hideout, and it should be the priority for your upgrades.
These were five of the best upgrades you should have for your Hideout in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
