How To Get to Room 8 in Blue Prince
Room 8 is one of the hidden rooms in Blue Prince that can only be accessed by solving the Gallery Puzzle. The final painting in the Gallery features the portrait of Room 8. Solving the puzzle at the Gallery rewards you with the Room 8 key. Unlike the other puzzles, the Gallery Puzzle is a one-time challenge, meaning it will remain solved permanently once completed. Each time you draft and visit the gallery, you can grab the Room 8 key from there.
After obtaining the key, you need to use it on any locked doors to open Room 8. It works similarly to how you access the Secret Garden. However, the Room 8 key works only on Rank 7 locked doors that face north towards Rank 8. To make it simple, Room 8 only spawns on Rank 8.
How To Solve Room 8 Puzzle in Blue Prince

Upon entering Room 8, you will notice there is a big infinity symbol pierced with pins and animal statues placed near the door. You will also find 8 different bins, each labelled with a specific sign. Your goal is to place each animal in their corresponding sin bin by analyzing their clues.
Clues:
- Penguin: The sum of my sin, as it is penned, is a number within the room we are in.
- Lion: To first begin, place me within a bin with an “N” within its sin.
- Swan: I recommend you think again if I am ever in a bin far from the fin.
- Elephant: To my chagrin, my neighbor’s sin is written thin to fit it all in.
- Dog: You won’t find my bin in between sin, for I deserve to be in a bin down on the end.
- Rabbit: I share a trend with my neighbor’s sin, a letter, and its twin appear on each bin.
- Bear: If we spend a min or ten lounging in the den, you’ll know which bin I’m often in.
- Monkey: The bin I tend to wind up in is near the bend in the tail of the skin.
Solution:
By analyzing the clues and associating them with in-room elements like the Fin painting and the Rug, you will get the following answer:
- Penguin: Gluttony
- Lion: Envy
- Swan: Lust
- Elephant: Wrath
- Dog: Mundanity
- Rabbit: Avarice
- Bear: Sloth
- Monkey: Hubris
Placing all the statues in the respective bins solves the puzzle and opens a secret panel above the statues’ stand. It contains two Allowance Tokens along with ‘The Infinity Trophy.’
