The adventure of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is stocked with beauty, emotions, and several fights. During your expedition, you encounter countless monsters known as nevrons. These nevrons come in unique shapes and sizes and add diversity to the fantasy part. The only way of defeating these monsters is to acquire powerful weapons for each character.
After reuniting with Lune and Maelle, you finally meet Sciel, a fellow expeditioner. She is the champion of the Gestral arena and also a great warrior. She has Scieleson as her starting weapon, but as you progress, you will need to get a better weapon. Charnon can replace her starting weapon due to its attack power and incredible passives.

How To Get Charnon in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Most weapons can be acquired by fighting mobs and bosses, but a few can be purchased from a merchant. Charnon falls under the latter category and you’ll need to buy it from Grour, the Gestral merchant. However, before unlocking it, you’ll have to defeat Grour in a fight. This Gestral can be found near the Golden Tree expedition flag located in Renoir’s Drafts. Just teleport to the location and look for Grour on the top of a building.

How To Use Charnon in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Charnon has the void damage element linked to it, and on top of that, it scales on defense and luck. Only Sciel can use this weapon. The weapon enhances her attack power a lot. At the time of purchase, you will acquire this weapon at level 31, meaning the following passives are already unlocked:
- Level 4: 100% critical chance during twilight.
- Level 10: Apply 1 foretell on a critical hit.
- Level 20: 20% increased damage for each consecutive turn without taking damage. Can stack up to 5 times.

All of these passives will increase Sciel’s attack power by a lot. She can hit those critical hits every time during the twilight. Moreover, if you are good at dodging and parrying, you can increase your damage by 100%. In conclusion, the weapon is a must-have for Sciel, and you should acquire it as soon as possible.
