Following from where we left off in the Death Stranding 2 Episode 1 Walkthrough, the Episode 2 Walkthrough deals with the immediate fallout of Sam’s shelter coming under attack and what happened to Fragile and Lou. There’s not much to do in this episode, aptly titled “Lou,” and most of it consists of cinematic cutscenes.
Death Stranding 2 Episode 2: How To Complete
Similar to Episode 1, Episode 2 begins with Sam atop a hill, and you will have to make your way back to the shelter. It’s clear that Sam is hearing Lou’s voice from time to time. The weather worsens, and BTs appear shortly after.

As you near the shelter, a cutscene triggers. Lou can be seen on the ground crying (similar to the ending of Episode 1). Sam gets shot, but he tries in vain to reach Lou. As the baby stops crying and is seemingly dead, Sam stops and falls to his knees. The scene changes, and Sam notices he has a revolver in his hand. He puts the gun against his temple and pulls the trigger.
Sam has the ability to repatriate, allowing him to come back from the dead. Press square when prompted. Sam wakes up in his bed in the shelter, holding the BB pod, which he believes contains Lou (after what happened at the end of Episode 1).
Fragile appears soon after. A conversation follows where she urges Sam to leave the shelter, saying there’s nothing left for him there and that he needs to stop hurting himself. She takes him outside the shelter, where a massive ship rises from a tar pool. It is the DHV Magellan, the mobile base of operations for Drawbridge. Fragile asks Sam to come meet her crew and says it is time for him to begin a new journey.
