Assassin’s Creed Shadows does have microtransactions available through in-game and platform stores. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to those who have played the recent few titles of the series. On offer are things like the Premium Starter Pack and Helix Credits among other things.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Microtransactions Explained

The following microtransactions are currently available for AC Shadows:

  • Premium Starter Pack (€ 34,99): It contains two exclusive new weapons for Naoe and Yasuke, five mastery points, and 4,200 Helix Credits (including 700 bonus Helix Credits).
  • Helix Credits Base Pack (€ 4,99): It contains 500 Helix Credits.
  • Helix Credits Small Pack (€ 9,99): It contains 1,050 Helix Credits.
  • Helix Credits Medium Pack (€ 19,99): It contains 2,300 Helix Credits.
  • Helix Credits Large Pack (€ 34,99): It contains 4,200 Helix Credits.
  • Helix Credits Extra Large Pack (€ 49,99): It contains 6,600 Helix Credits.

Helix Credits are one of the three in-game currencies available in Shadows (the others being Mon and Keys). It can be used to get gear and weapons customizations, Hideout customizations, Hideout resources, Ally customizations, Mounts, Maps, and Mon.

Microtransactions are not necessary for you to complete Assassin’s Creed Shadows or enjoy it to the fullest. Helix Credits are not available through in-game grind and are only required for cosmetic purposes.
