In this guide, we shall go over how to craft Steel Ingots in Dune Awakening, a special crafting ingredient in the game.

The first few chapters of Dune introduce you to Paul Atreides and his mysterious world, but more so than the boy, they build a haunting image of the land of Arrakis. Arrakis is a dangerous planet and is ruled by the Harkonnen. The planet is so hostile, and its dangers so severe, that the Harkonnen hands it over to Duke Leto Atreides as a trap.
Now, in Dune Awakening, you get to experience the lands of Arrakis and its dangers for yourself. While threats may lurk around every corner, the game arms you with the tools to defend yourself. If you wish to get the strongest possible weapons, you need to craft Steel Ingots.
Steel Ingots in Dune Awakening allow you to craft some of the best weapons in the game. These valuable resources are not found in the wild, however, and must be crafted instead. If you’re hoping to shred through whatever Arrakis throws at you, you need the best weapons, and for that, you need Steel Ingots. In this guide, we shall go over how to craft Steel Ingots in Dune Awakening.

How To Craft Steel Ingots in Dune Awakening

If you wish to craft Steel Ingots, you require the following ingredients:
- Carbon Ores
- Iron Ores
You find the Carbon Ores in the Jabal Eifrit Al-Janub region of the game, which is inaccessible in the beta. Once the full game releases, you can explore this area and use your Cutteray MK2 to mine the carbon ores like you do the other ores in the game.
For the beta, your best bet at obtaining the carbon is through the chests. Mount your sandbike and its scanner to locate chests in the sand. Loot these chests to obtain the carbon ores. You find the Iron Ores in the Vermilius Gap region of the game. These ores are scattered all over the region, and you can mine them using the Cutteray MK2.
Once you have both sets of ores, you can run them through the electric furnace to craft Steel Ingots. Steel Ingots, in turn, allow you to craft advanced weapons, armor, the Cutteray MK3, and more.
