The Winter Raiders quest can be triggered by finding and meeting Rin in the area of Gobo. Your task is to source all of the winter raiders and assassinate them. After each of the four raiders is assassinated, you collect a letter.

In this article, we’ll talk about how to find and assassinate the Winter Raiders leader in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. These raiders are a seasoned organisation that raises fear in the helpless civilians and villagers. You are tasked to once and for all bring an end to their ways.

Where To Find the Winter Raiders Leader in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

This group, being a seasonal group, will be available to face during the season of winter. After all the letters are sourced, you will be able to decipher the location of the leader. As per the objective board, he is hiding on the Kii Shoreline. More specifically, he is in a cave in the south, his hideout being near a village raided by outlaws.

Set a waypoint near the Sandanbeki cave, situated in the southern region of Kii. Make your way to the waypoint and reach the mouth of the cave. The cave will be clouded by darkness, but there are lanterns inside, which will guide the path you must take. After reaching the second lantern, you will see a small opening to delve further into the cave.

The first set of obstacles will be thin wooden planks you will have to hop across to reach the next piece of land. From there, head forward and jump across the short wall. Enter crouch mode and follow the lantern. Now, silently assassinate the first enemy in your path and quietly move forward into the gap between the cargo.

Use your observation mode to get a sense of where all the enemies are located. Now, jump down the ladder and the next ladder to the right. One last jump down to the left, and then you can follow the wooden board to the next lantern. As you climb the short set of steps, you will see a broken gap between the wooden stage. Enter it and exit from the other side, where you will see a gap in the cave with just enough space for you to squeeze your way through.

Once here, you will see a blue blip on your screen, indicating the location of the leader. The Winter Raiders leader is the brain behind the entire operation. He is the mysterious leader, and his motive is revenge, which he uses to channel his experience on the battlefield.

Silently walk across the obstacle in your path and assassinate him. After that, make your way back to the exit of the cave. After you assassinate the Winter Raiders leader, you receive the following:
