How To Beat Ao Andon (Yokai) in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Here, we will finally put an end to the Yokai quest by locating Ao Andon and assassinating her in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

After defeating the last Yokai, Taka Nyudo, the cutscene with Chitose right after mentions her gratitude for saving them from the monster. She also brings up the name Mamushi, who is the primary reason we journeyed on this expedition. In this article, we will be looking at how to beat Ao Andon in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

How To Locate Ao Andon in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Once the cutscene is done, open the map. A new objective tab appears, prompting you to return to Mamushi. The location appears in the region of Yamashiro at the Hills of Meeting. Set a waypoint on the quest and fast-travel to the nearest point you can. From there, proceed toward the location. Once you reach the place, which is at the Jyoiji Daiji Temple, you will see a flight of stairs leading to the entrance. Climb the stairs toward the blue blip on your screen and enter through the door. A cutscene will trigger.

How To Defeat Ao Andon in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Your character begins to speak to who she assumes is Mamushi. She mentions that he was right about the non-existence of Yokai. But here lies the twist. We are greeted from the back by Chitose. By the side of Chitose lies the motionless body of Mamushi. Chitose then turns her attention toward us and strikes us back across the door, tumbling down the stairs. This then triggers the final boss fight with Ao Andon.

Ao Andon uses just one dagger with slower strikes. Inflicting a series of combos is most effective against her. After defeating her, her body disappears with the remains of some blue mist. You will also receive some rewards for the completion of the mission.
